RABINDRA JAYANTI CELEBRATED AT JORASHANKO THAKURBARI OF KOLKATA

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata 8^th May, 2016: On the eve of Rabindra Jayanti, today Jorashanko Thakurbari (Rabindra Bharati University) arranged an enchanting musical programme like every year. The programme started from 6.00 am and went through till mid-day. There were so many celebrity performers, who performed here in this auspicious occasion. The entire event was orchestrated in a very systematic manner in a heart whelming environment. Performances like Rabindra Sangit, Rabindra Recitation etc. were performed by various artists, which touched the listener minds. Celebrity artists like Biswanath Chakraborty, Jagannath Basu, Urmimala Basu, Chandrabali Rudra Dutta, Pranati Thakur and many others showcased their aura in the day here. Later in the day an art exhibition was also arranged by the members of Thakurbari in the Rabindra day.
